VALUES AND STANDARDS

The Lesotho Defence Force observes a home-grown military value system, which guides the conduct of all its members in the discharge of their noble duties. These values show what we stand for, what kind of behavior are we known for, or do we want to be known for. Lesotho Defence Force values are enforced by Defence Force Regulations, Code of Military Discipline (Working Standing Orders) and Code of Professional Conduct by Military Customs, Ed 2003. Once observed, these values would guarantee our excellence and diligence in performing the national security imperatives that are assigned to the Lesotho Defence Force.
