Brigadier General David Moholoholo is an alumnus of Zimbabwe Command and Staff College and Shiji KhZhuang Military Academy, China. The General has held varied Command and Staff appointments.
In 1999 he was commissioned into Engineering Company. Prior to taking over the Commanding Officer appointments, he served, at an Engineering Company, as a platoon commander of an Engineering platoon for five years before moving into the Infantry Brigade.
His command experience includes serving as a Battalion Commander for 12 and 13 Infantry Battalions respectively. His staff experiences include appointments as SO2 Operations Training and Planning, Brigade Major of an Infantry Brigade, and the ADC to his Majesty King Letsie III for three years.
Brig Moholoholo attended various Military Courses including Special Operation Command Course at Shijia Zhuang Military Academy, China in 2000; Junior Staff Course at Nigeria Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Nigeria in 2005; United Nations Military Observers Course in Mali (2006); Battalion Commander's Artillery Command Course at Nanjing Artillery Academy, China in 2008; Senior Command Course at Zimbabwe Command and Staff College, Zimbabwe in 2010.
The Brig attended International Military Mission in Syria in 2012, serving as a Military Observer. He also participated in various exercises including SADC “EX-Thokgamo”, Botswana in 2005 and SADC “EX-Golfinho”, Republic of South Africa in 2009.
Brigadier Moholoholo has been bestowed some distinguished military awards including the "Military Medal for Meritorious Service", the "SADC UN Medal" of recognition for his role as a Military Observer and a "Thirty years Military Medal".
